International Baccalaureate Results 2010

The results achieved this represent the best average points score in the School’s history; with the average points score per student at 38 (out of a possible 45).

One candidate, Ben Cooper, obtained the full 45 points. The School has had at least one such result every year since the IB was introduced at the School 6 years ago.

• All 36 diploma students passed – 100% pass rate

• 53% gained diplomas with 40 or more points. Worldwide only 5.5% of students achieve this

• 93.5% of students achieved the equivalent of As & Bs at A level

• The average points score per student was 38 (out of 45)

"We are again delighted by an excellent set of IB results. Not only have we continued the record of at least one student gaining the coveted maximum of 45 points in each of the years we have followed the course, but, more importantly, we have seen the average number of points rise again to a record high, this time 38 points per candidate. By any standards, this is remarkable. My congratulations go to all the boys and, of course, the staff", explained John Moule, Head Master
