Developing skills for the future
It is our aim that, by the time they leave the School, Bedford boys should be well equipped to take responsibility for their own lives and possess the skills that will enable them to cope in a fast-changing world, to think dynamically, to take the initiative, to work in a team and to value others.
The boys enjoy these challenges and at the end of their second year in the Upper School they join the activities programme, choosing from the Combined Cadet Force (CCF), the Community Service Unit (CSU), Projects, Pursuits and Courses (PPC), or the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
Activities are available every weekday after school. Many of these activities are run jointly with our sister school, Bedford High School for Girls, and with Dame Alice Harpur School for Girls.
